1. Overview
At FainTrading, we want you to be satisfied with our service. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for our subscription plans.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and support both RON and USD currencies.
2. Free Tier
We offer a permanent free tier for all users:
- No credit card required to create a free account
- Limited access to platform features on the free tier
- You will NOT be charged unless you actively subscribe to a paid plan
3. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation is easy and does not require contacting support.
How to Cancel:
- Log in to your FainTrading account
- Go to Settings > Subscription
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
After Cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You retain full access to paid features until the period ends
- After the period ends, your account reverts to the free tier
4. Refund Eligibility
Eligible for Refund
- First-time subscribers within 14 days of initial payment
- Technical issues that prevented use of the service
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service significantly different from description
Not Eligible for Refund
- Cancellation after 14 days of subscription (monthly plans)
- Change of mind after extensive use of the platform
- Trading losses incurred while using the platform
- Violation of Terms of Service leading to account termination
Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of subscribing, without giving reasons and without incurring any costs other than those provided for in Directive 2011/83/EU. By starting to use paid features immediately after subscribing, you may lose this withdrawal right for the part of the service already provided — please read carefully before activating a paid plan.
5. Pro-Rata Refunds (Annual Plans)
For annual subscriptions, we offer pro-rata refunds when you cancel before the end of your subscription period:

If you paid for an annual Pro Trader subscription and cancel after 3 months, the remaining eligible period is handled according to the refund terms.
Pro-rata refunds are calculated based on the number of full months remaining, minus a processing fee of 10% of the refund amount.
6. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Contact support@faintrading.com with your account email
- Include your reason for requesting a refund
- We will review your request within 2 business days
- If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.
7. Payment Methods
Refunds are processed to the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit/debit card refunds: 5-10 business days
- Bank transfers may take additional time depending on your bank
- If the original payment method is no longer available, contact support
8. Exceptions
We may make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis for:
- Extended technical outages affecting your ability to use the service
- Documented medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances
- Issues with the tastytrade integration that were not your fault
